Welcome to the Merrick Auto Museum. We are one of the largest holders of automobilia. Ranging from manuals and brochures to posters and parts. Our shop page shows our current collection, but you can give us a call to help find something specific (we may just have it!). We also help with car restorations in many ways.

In 1992 Jim Merrick and his son Richard began their Nebraska-based collection with 11 fully restored antique automobiles and officially formed the Merrick Auto Museum the same year. Over the following 25 years, the collection has grown to include over 130 carefully curated antique automobiles ranging from the early 1900s to the 1980s, as well as a diverse collection of memorabilia. At the heart of the collection are over 100 American Brass-Era, high-wheeler, and pre-war cars from the turn of the century to the 1930s, largely comprised of rare orphan marques such as Mier, Gasmobile, Kearns, and Smith Flyer.

Doug and Kathy have three sons, Tyler, Clayton and Ryan, one daughter-in-law Amy (married to Clayton) and grandson Sam. VerMaas Construction
VerMaas Construction started in 1960 as a Lincoln-based construction company, started by John D VerMaas as a home framing company. In the last 4+ decades VerMaas Company has grown from a small residential home builder and remodeler to a commercial office development company with a portfolio of over 110 facilities in 13 Midwest states. The Majority of these facilities were Build to Suit’s for various Federal, State, and Local Agencies, like the United States Postal Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, The Veterans Administration, and the Social Security Administration.
